Why Does The Lord Develop Faithful Leaders Who Train or Equip Skilled Workers?

A common myth among the unreligious crowd portrays the Will of our Lord God as looking for followers who act like poor, mindless, non-provocative sheep - well, nothing could be further from the truth!

The Lord develops leaders who will faithfully minister to and serve the people with the goodness and truth of the Lord's love and mercy. Take this example from the life of Daniel, the prophet

    Daniel 9:21 Yes, whiles I [was] speaking in prayer,... Gabriel [the warrior of God, an archangel], whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

    Dan 9:22 And he informed [me], and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give you skill and understanding.

    Dan 9:23 At the beginning of your supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to show [you]; for you [are] greatly beloved [by the Lord]: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

Daniel's record of visions and interpretations have skillfully guided and faithfully advised kings, leaders, their counselors and many others for thousands of years - even today, we are still served by the relevance in his teachings.

Where does our native intelligence come from that gives us an affinity for or helps us to do certain types of work? Our natural calling comes from the Lord:

    Exodus 31:2 [The LORD spoke to Moses saying] See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

    Exd 31:3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

    Exd 31:4 To devise cunning works, ...

So Bezaleel and other skilled workers fashioned the materials for and built the tabernacle of the congregation.

Again, the Lord develops faithful leaders and through their service to Him, they guide, equip and train skillful workers - Why?

Because God promotes anyone who seeks to obey and serve His Will, He uses their service to bring the message and deliver the substance of His grace, love, faithfulness, hope and salvation to the world.

You can become a faithful leader who equips workers, too.

When you seek first the kingdom of God, and His ways of being right, you'll be well on your way to that hope of glory He has made available to all mankind through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen [so let it be done according to His Will]!

Why Must Leadership Skills Training & Development Programs Return More Than 100%?

I have to admit that when it comes to making any investment in education, I'm sort of a cheapie - I won't spend the money unless I know that I'm absolutely going to get much more than my original investment back.

I don't know about your priorities but I know that I demand a ton of convincing to invest in training especially when it deals with subjects like management, marketing or leadership.

I want to maximize my training cash because I know that good programs will continue to pay me dividends time after time.

Of course, your training program certainly needs to contain some entertaining bits and even engaging or endearing qualities too - those desirable traits are the fringe benefits or icing-on-the-cake like:
    => games or simulations that reveal hidden weaknesses or fears;

    => discussions that open up whole new realms of inquiry not related to the main subject but important just the same;

    => networking with really fascinating people who eventually become lifelong friends or associates

Whatever you do, please make sure you get clearly defined and significant returns on your training investment - if you can find a training company who guarantees their services based on improvements in your performance, then you should trust them more than any others!

When you spend your money on training are you looking for entertainment, engagement or education?.

If you want the temporary benefits of watching an action adventure movie or taking a walk in the park then go for it - but if you need to see your career prospects blossom and vibrantly grow stronger, your training investment must deliver more than a mere 100% payback [I suggest you look for programs that guarantee you returns of at least 300% over long periods of time].

My company always gives our clients a measurable performance guarantee because we know that performance-based guarantees are the ONLY realistic measure of a great training program, don't you agree?

Let's face it, leadership skills training and development is a long-term, step-by-step process, why would you want to learn this critical subject any other way?

We offer these affordable, performance-based guaranteed online programs:

Why are Leadership Skills Training & Development Courses Important?

There are 7 really major sets of skills that will transform you into a powerful and effective leader. Did you know most leadership training and development courses cover less than 4 or 5 of those skills?

If you have ever looked at using a leadership skills training program, you probably have run smack into one or more of the following problems:

    - leadership training will usually cost you some serious money - in fact, some programs are outrageously expensive

    - leadership training programs last for a very short time - quite a few of them run for only one or two days

    - many leadership training programs fail to give you some way to support or help you meet your daily challenges

    - less than 1% of all leadership training programs couple coaching and mentoring follow-ups with classroom sessions

    - most leadership training programs like to do 'raw data dumps'- the vast majority of them do NOT give you chances to 'blend' your learning experiences with supervised practice

I want to help you to find, use and take advantage of every leadership skills learning opportunity you encounter - because you should be able to employ your leadership skills in highly effective, more creative and powerful ways.

Make sure you get clearly defined and significant returns on your leadership skills training investment!

Find and use your leadership toolkit whenever and wherever you can!

Developing Leadership Skills versus Loser-ship Training

If you know me, you have realized that I love to play with concepts, it's just a little thing I like to do from time to time to myself honest and in good humor.

Anyway, I began that old game of mine earlier this week after seeing a leader [who shall remain nameless for now and for fear of being led by this person to the court of opinions, etc.] - as I was saying the game was afoot after my meeting with the nameless leader.

Well anyway, here we go:

    There is...

      => leading people and there is losing people

      => committing their hearts versus omitting them altogether

      => sensing their moods as opposed to menacing them

      => rendering service versus defending poor service

      => serving their needs vs. swerving from their needs

      => siding with them versus sliding away from them

      => finding solutions versus blinding them

      => giving to people as opposed to gypping [cheating] them

      => meaning something to people versus demeaning them

      => offering something to people versus offending people

      => hosting people as opposed to ghosting [presenting a false image to] them

Are you an innovative leader?

What actions do you take to improve your leadership skills?

Don't lose people lead them - become the Ultra-leader of you group today!

Leadership Energy Develops Power & Trains People To Optimize Their Skills

Why is leadership energy so important to you and your success?
    "Is not the holy energy of true love ever sagacious, far-sighted and prophetic? Truth is not isolated: it is not a part, but the whole. It is love, and beauty, and joy. The wise man does not believe and opine, but he knows and is the very truth which he utters. His thought is action: his knowledge is love" [Emerson's Essays, by A Disciple, in the US Democratic Review Volume-16, Issue-84]

The secret of great leaders is simply this: they have a love for their purpose that sees beyond, leaps over, takes them further than and transcends all other considerations!

Innovative leaders have and employ their keen sense of perception based upon their knowledge of life's most essential truths:

    => Every situation, person and technology changes all the time;

    => Beauty is within all living things;

    => God Almighty is love, love is not a mere emotion for Him, it is His character, His purpose, His being;

    => Joy is possible, it is a state of being, thinking and becoming;

    => Truth accepts no comprises, it never partitions itself and it will not align itself with non-truths

    => The words that you say are the thoughts, feelings and hopes of your heart

Leaders develop inner power through skills training, being coached and mentored, acting in love for a better world and applying their knowledge to serve a higher purpose.

Would you like to become an innovative leader? Do you want to improve your leadership skills?

I believe you can do it, I ask you to believe in yourself and the truth of your potential.

Leaders Use Skills to Develop, Train & Energize People

Leading is an act of energetic purpose - it's the directing, focusing, shaping or channeling of energy towards a desired objective.

Over time and the distance of space, leaders use the energies available to them to become that instrument through whom energy propels the group.

Where does that energy come from? It is already present in many forms and places, specifically it is:
  • within and all around the leader's environment,
  • a function of the system the leader leads or outside that system,
  • the products of the actions committed by the group the leader leads.

What does energy look like? Actually seeing energy with the naked eye is impossible but with the aid of applied knowledge, we can see its effects.
Energy can assume the form of:
  • A physical circumstance or object;
  • An intellectual impulse or calculation;
  • A spiritual activation or expression;
  • A developmental permission or evolution

Skillful leaders sense the truths of energy, they use it to facilitate, enable, empower or enlighten their people. They use moments when energy is at its greatest strength to train or educate people and develop their commitment, self-actualization and abilities even further.

We know that leaders like Jack Welch, Tom Peters, Gandhi, George Washington and Jesus Christ have understood these fundamental principles - think of the substantial legacies left by those leaders, look at how they helped to accelerate the pace and light the way towards change and progress for their followers.

That's a brief look at energetic leadership - are you ready for the Ultra Leadership experience?

Innovative Leaders Energize Others By Developing Desire & Training Their Service Skills

Observing the behaviors of a particular leader, I had to wonder about his real reason for attending the strategic planning workshop we were conducting.

He walked out of the conference room at least four times for less than 2 minutes each time to check up on something else that was more important to him than our group's mission.

Although he sat at the head of the table, he actually contributed nothing to the ideas, suggestions or questions being put forward by the rest of the team. We all were amazed that he had even bothered to stay there and put up with our discussions.

Afterwards, someone asked me about his attitude and I told that person that our leader was seriously into being an importer of energy. Energy importers act like black holes, they show forth no light, they take everything in but do not give energy to the people around them.

Innovative leaders are energy exporters - they shine a light on the lives of others, they give back, give away and give out their energies to empower or enlighten others.

Energy exporters make you feel charged up when you're around them, you can sense their energies combining with yours to create a positively charged atmosphere - they are electric!

Leaders who export energy, inspire you to serve the needs of people by developing your desire to contribute to another person's growth, those are the leaders who always provide you with reasons to be of service to the group's purpose.

When you lead, are your followers being developed to serve, are you training them to be skillful servants?

How often do you export your energy to create stronger connections to others and strengthen their commitment to your mission?

What do you do to export your energy -
    => Do you discuss an idea or explore an idea?
    => Do you suggest a course of action or solicit a course of action?
    => Do you review their performance or do you consult them on their performance?

Skillful leaders do not rely on a style, they depend on substance - are you the innovative leader you need to be?

If You Faithfully Develop the Resources & Train the Skills of Leaders Are You Doing God's Work?

Equipping, training and developing leaders to be resourceful, faithful contributors to the well-being of the human race could probably be called a good work.

It seems that God Himself encourages us to be His instruments in performing as many of those same good works as we possibly can.
We who are preparing, educating and discipling leaders for the glory of God are privileged to give of ourselves, in service to God our Father, for the Lord's sake. By declaring ourselves subject and obedient to the Most High Almighty God and His Holy Will, we hope to play our small part in His Divine plan for His creation.

    Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

    Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

    Eph 1:19 And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Training and developing leaders, helping take advantage of their resources and assets, and helping them become faithful stewards of their missions is our vocation and ministry to humanity - we serve the Lord's Will so that they may learn the hope of His calling - [Ephesians 2:7]"That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus." [All Text from the Blue Letter Bible]

We thank You, Lord, for Your gifts of love and grace towards us by Christ Jesus, Amen.

Innovative Leadership Skills Are Developed, Trained & Perfected By Your Strategic Priorities

Using strategy to lead you as you lead others can be a wise course of action. Within well-defined strategies, you will find these empowering, energizing ingredients:
  • Intention - the purpose, raison d'etre, your whys or wherefores,

  • Direction - your approach and path towards an objective;

  • Contention against which your efforts will be measured.

Effective leaders use the strategic planning and management processes to develop their human capital assets, train themselves to master critical skills and expand their power base.

Leadership excellence demands your unwavering focus, unbending stance and unrelenting grasp on the details of your strategy, mission and key priorities - assessing your own situation, would you agree these guiding elements are:

    => Well-defined or being clarified on a regular basis?

    => Based on the realities of your current situation and its realistic possibilities?

    => Important enough to satisfy the needs of your people or stakeholders for recognition, purpose and growth?

There are both destructive and evolutionary forces at work in your environment - your primary leadership task is to hold forth the light of nobility, righteousness and goodness for others to see or be guided by.

Innovative leadership is essential to the success of today's organizations.

Be a leader who plans to use the strategic planning and management processes to leverage and further develop your human capital.

Improve your leadership skills to lift others up to a better life!

Edison Saw Bigger - Innovative Leadership Skills Develop Big Visions & Train New Leaders

"Edison didn't just invent the electric light. [He also developed] the electricity-generating infrastructure [needed to supply the energy required to light the lights and his company built that infrastructure] complete with power stations and transmission wires.", so writes Dr. Paul Israel, director of the Thomas A. Edison Papers Project, at Rutgers University, in a recent article for Bottom Line-Personal [see Bottom Line, January 15, 2005 - and learn more Edison by visiting the Edison Project website - Edison at Rutgers University]

Edison's ability to dream big and see bigger visions created huge financial, social and developmental opportunities and windfalls for billions upon billions of people.

What good are glass-encased light bulbs without the free-flowing energy supply system needed to power them?

What do your dreams look like, are they as big as they can be? Edison's innovative leadership skills caused him to:
  • Wonder about or question why and what is possible;
  • Envision and rigorously image or imagine any and every possible benefit or positive outcome;
  • Evaluate, picture and test all the possibilities created by the invention of a light bulb.
Edison's ingenuity did not operate in a vacuum nor was his genius an isolated case - his employees applied the lessons learned from him and achieve greatness on their merit.

Samuel Insull, a former Edison employee, made his mark in the city of Chicago by pioneering the concept of a truly public, "public utility". [read about Insull here, Samuel Insull the man, the Insull empire]

Insull dreamed and believed it was possible to give all people access to the robust supply of a reasonably priced, publicly financed electric power company.

His vision and leadership made electric power available to the masses through financing schemes designed to spread the risk and lower the operating costs associated with supplying electricity to large geographic areas.

What are your visions, dreams and hopes imagining? How are your visions expanding your organization's possibilities? Who are you passing your innovative leadership skills onto?

Learn to be an innovative leader who excels at seeing the bigger picture - become a leader of a creative, evolutionary, innovative organization, today!

Edison Kept Searching - Leaders Who Develop Innovative Skills Must Train Themselves to Explore

Edison just explored his ideas or questioned why things worked the way they did, reports Dr. Paul Israel of Rutgers' University, in New Jersey.

Israel, who serves as director and editor of the Thomas A. Edison Papers Project, explains how,
    "Some of Edison's discoveries came from experiments that were meant simply to increase his knowledge." [learn more by visiting the Edison Project website - Edison at Rutgers University]

Edison's perseverance and curiosity paid off handsomely - how many other inventors have been as prolific or as clever as him?

Creative, innovative leaders train themselves to be curious - they study the habits, behaviors and actions of explorers like Columbus, Newton, or Lewis & Clark.

Leaders who want to improve their inventiveness and resourcefulness force themselves to pursue the causal factors lurking within and hiding behind imperfections, inconsistencies, incongruities, idiosyncrasies or impurities.

By skillfully questioning, investigating and un-peeling the shortfalls and weaknesses in your organization, you will discover better, more reliable and efficient solutions to your challenges.

Leading creative, evolutionary and innovative organizations means digging into the possible, reaching up to the wonderful, and holding onto the impossible with all of your might, faith and passion.

Are you ready to lead your people into the lands of creative, innovative and evolutionary promises? Be a leader who uses ideas to explore new knowledge - the leader who reveals the jewels we need to illuminate our path to a better tomorrow!

Leaders are Innovative Idea-Explorers - Learn how you can be too!

Edison Failed - Leaders Turn Failure Into Opportunities to Train & Develop New Innovative Skills

Dr. Paul Israel reports,
    "Edison used to say that he never had a failed experiment. Even when experiments went wrong, they still boosted his knowledge." [learn more by visiting Dr Israel's website - Edison at Rutgers University]

When people asked Edison to describe his feelings about failing to prolong his incandescent light bulb's filament nearly 10,000 times, Edison replied that he had discovered 10,000 ways not to prolong the life of a bulb's filament.

One of the richest sources of innovative opportunities is based on the failure of an object, approach or idea you were certain would and should have been successful.

At that point of failure, you need to make a decision, did we fail because we executed incorrectly or did we fail because we made the wrong assumptions about this thing or is there something we can do with this thing that would make it payoff?

By skillfully applying the precious knowledge gained from a failed, problematic or unprofitable venture, you can find new approaches, elegant solutions and innovative adaptations.

Leading creative, evolutionary and innovative organizations means searching for answers that cultivate, nurture and nourish your organizational competencies.

Are you ready to lead your people towards higher levels of creative, innovative and evolutionary greatness? Become a leader who uses failure to develop or increase your knowledge and discover profitable opportunities for growth, today!

Edison Speaks - Creative Leaders Develop Knowledge & Innovative Skills Through Self-directed Training

Without a doubt Thomas A. Edison was one of the greatest and most productive inventors of all time. He patented more than 1000 individual invention and after nearly a 100 years later, many of his breakthrough ideas remain in use today.

Dr. Paul Israel, author of three books on Edison's career, explains that many of his,
    "breakthroughs were the result of taking an idea from one field [of study] and applying it to something entirely different." [learn more by visiting Dr Israel's website - Edison at Rutgers University]

The best way to understand that lesson is to think of your hobbies, let's say, gardening. You know that the process of planting really entails careful preparation of the soil, elimination of weeds, ensuring proper drainage, etc. Then, let's imagine you are an office manager.

As office manager you realize that the office needs to be carefully prepared to handle its daily tasks - is there enough room for the files, will people be able to pass along their work products in an organized manner, are the requisite supplies or materials on-hand, etc?

By applying knowledge gained from some other field of study to the problems you encounter, you can find new approaches, elegant solutions and innovative adaptations.

Leading creative, evolutionary and innovative organizations means adopting work patterns that cultivate, nurture and nourish your organizational resources.

Are you ready to lead your people towards higher levels of creative, innovative and evolutionary greatness? Become an innovative leader today!

Leaders are Innovative - You can be too!

How does God Commit To Training Our Leadership Skills & Developing Our Faith Power or Work Energies?

How does the Lord our Go Almighty commit His power, ability and resources to our leadership skills training and development of faith and workplace energy?

In a world where humans still doubt or at best minimize the power of a living God to play a role in their lives, this short piece might help readers to see how He wants to and how He can work His power for good in our lives.

Deuteronomy 8:18 But you shall remember the LORD your God: for [it is] He that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto your fathers, as [it is] this day.

Where the word, power refers to

    => strength, power or might, such as human strength or the strength (of angels) and power (of God)

    => the strength, produce or wealth (of soil or the land)

In this verse the word, covenant means having an

    => alliance or pledge between God and man

    => similar to an alliance (of friendship) or covenant (divine ordinance with signs or pledges)

In what ways and how have you committed yourself to God? Have you asked God to bless your life or have you asked Him to curse or damn your luck, circumstances or enemies?

How do you choose to remember the Lord - do you take a moment each day to put His goodness, mercy and love into your heart so that you show Him your gratitude, appreciation and commitment to live your life the way He wants you to?

Deuteronomy 8:10 When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which he has given you.

Be sure that your worship, praise and thanks are given to Him Who has truly provided you with the power, skills and training to get wealth. Too many of us slip into the bad habit of serving or worshipping other gods [like our jobs, our lovers, our TV or even sports figures]

Use the resources God gives us - be faithful to Him for He is the Lord Who gives you the power to get Wealth!

Faith and Work are Resources He gives us - give thanks to Him today!

Leaders Evaluate Performances Then Train & Develop Skills of People

Aarti Iyer's brief, yet highly instructional post concerning strategic planning and the leader's role in its success, advises us to:

    "Consider recognizing contributions to achievement of the plan, even if the individual did not have specific responsibility as outlined in their individual objectives. And, when setting future objectives, consider writing an objective that refers to the values expressed in the plan." [to read her entire article, see the Human Resources Circle discussion group in Yahoo - HRCircle at yahoogroups.com - Digest-142]

I can suggest a few areas where people both add value and reflect the types of values needed for the organization's successful implementation of its strategic plans.

Because people purposely add value to the circumstances of their lives, I call each of those value-appreciating areas, a "capital asset". Wise leaders should use these areas in their evaluations and discussions of employee performance.

These assets or value-enhancing capabilities are:

Production - the ability to create, evaluate, perform, deliver, process, supply, execute, apply, produce and many other "functional" activities.

Knowledge - may be thought of as having an ability to think, analyze, conceive, extrapolate, interpret or translate and other mental, reasoning, cogitating or intellectual actions.

Social - the forming of relationships, communities, teams, partnerships or alliances, the developing and sustaining of networks, interactions, exchanges or transactions with and between other people.

Utilization - concepts involving capabilities towards, growing, improving, enhancing, evolving, developing, learning, educating and progressing beyond one's innate or natural ability - an ability to act towards and achieve the fulfillment of one's potential

Are you using your strategic plans to appreciate and leverage the "capital" contributions of your people?

In what ways could you use your strategic plan, its objectives, its perspectives or its vision to gather-up, covet and recognize the "net worth" of your group?

Do you feel a tinge of greed when you think of how much more you want the leadership skills of your people to grow, expand and enrich the organization?
