Why Does The Lord Develop Faithful Leaders Who Train or Equip Skilled Workers?

A common myth among the unreligious crowd portrays the Will of our Lord God as looking for followers who act like poor, mindless, non-provocative sheep - well, nothing could be further from the truth!

The Lord develops leaders who will faithfully minister to and serve the people with the goodness and truth of the Lord's love and mercy. Take this example from the life of Daniel, the prophet

Daniel 9:21 Yes, whiles I [was] speaking in prayer,... Gabriel [the warrior of God, an archangel], whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

Dan 9:22 And he informed [me], and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give you skill and understanding.

Dan 9:23 At the beginning of your supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to show [you]; for you [are] greatly beloved [by the Lord]: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

Daniel's record of visions and interpretations have skillfully guided and faithfully advised kings, leaders, their counselors and many others for thousands of years - even today, we are still served by the relevance in his teachings.

Where does our native intelligence come from that gives us an affinity for or helps us to do certain types of work? Our natural calling comes from the Lord:

Exodus 31:2 [The LORD spoke to Moses saying] See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

Exd 31:3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

Exd 31:4 To devise cunning works, ...

So Bezaleel and other skilled workers fashioned the materials for and built the tabernacle of the congregation.

Again, the Lord develops faithful leaders and through their service to Him, they guide, equip and train skillful workers - Why?

Because God promotes anyone who seeks to obey and serve His Will, He uses their service to bring the message and deliver the substance of His grace, love, faithfulness, hope and salvation to the world.

You can become a faithful leader who equips workers, too.

When you seek first the kingdom of God, and His ways of being right, you'll be well on your way to that hope of glory He has made available to all mankind through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen [so let it be done according to His Will]!

Thanks for the encouragement there! Good to know that what we do best - what we feel most complete doing - is God's will, even if it doesn't appear religious. I guess that's how Bezalel and Oholiab felt, too, even if they weren't prophets or preachers. Thanks again.
